tracy
this is my dear friend tracy. I met her almost a year ago while wwoofing in northfork, ca. we immediately bonded, there are just some people in this lifetime that resonate with you, like your souls knew each other before your physical bodies ever met. thats how I feel about tracy. she recently became a yoga instructor and needed some photos for her website/pamphlets etc so we set out to griffith park and did a little shoot. we were talking about how blessed we feel that our work and our passion is the same. she shared with me this quote which sums it up perfectly.
“A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.” L.P. Jacks
spirit hoods :: find your inner animal
happy to share with you some photos from a shoot a couple weeks ago featuring spirit hoods! This was a really fun shoot to do, I’m pretty sure we were laughing and goofing around most of the time which gave the photos such great energy and just shows how you feel when you put one of these furry hoods on. If you want to purchase a hood go here and if you want to buy a hood that will help save an animal (DO IT!) go here to support Pro Blue. lastly, if you want to join a tribe of fellow spirit hood lovers who want to remind everyone how amazing life is join Yay Life Tribe. enjoy the photos!
Ashley & Grant
I was hiking up at Griffith Park the other day and saw through the trees this awesome swing and knew I had to do a shoot there. Luckily, Ashley and Grant were totally down. They even laid down in the dirt for me. What good sports! Couldn’t be happier for the two of you!!
Zion :: a college reunion of sorts
I got to spend the last 5 days backpacking and hiking through Zion National Park, one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I have ever been. What made the trip even better was spending it with great college friends. Five of us are photographers who went to school in Ohio and now we are spread all over the west. It was great to just disconnect, take in my surroundings and catch up with my friends…. hail/snow/sleet storm and all (see photos) Here are some of my favorite photos from both the road trip out there and the park itself.
Rachel & Bob
Thrilled to share with you this adorable engagement shoot of Rachel and Bob at the Paramount Ranch. They are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple full of contagious smiles and laughter (see beach photos)! Congratulations to you both and thanks for the opportunity to photograph you!
Aly & Justin :: Laguna Beach Wedding
Tahoe Wedding
Been a busy couple of weeks… first Vegas then Ohio and finally Tahoe! Feeling truly blessed being able to travel as much as I have lately. Tahoe is g o r g e o u s ! There was fresh snow and sunshine for the wedding and Chris and Deroda were such troopers in the snow… it might have been a bit cold but I think the pictures made it totally worth it
All images shot for Heather Kincaid.
