I don’t think I have ever wandered into a more fascinating place. thank you to all the people who so kindly welcomed me and were so generous to me throughout my stay.

I saw Active Child a couple months back during his residency at The Echo and lucky me, I got to see him again the other night. I don’t know anyone else who can rock a harp and falsetto quite like Pat.

I feel everything and everything hurts and yet it is so remarkable just to be alive

I wonder how anyone could ever feel truly sad

I wonder if one day I may just dry out of tears and shrivel up in to a prune and sprout shoots

But tomorrow, dawn will come the way I picture her,
barefoot and disheveled, standing outside my window
in one of the fragile cotton dresses of the poor.
She will look in at me with her thin arms extended,
offering a handful of birdsong and a small cup of light.
