lana del rey
from the minute I heard video games I have been obsessed with lana del rey. she was spectacular and painfully beautiful. thanks to paste magazine for the opportunity to shoot her show.
active child and acting like children
active child should change his name to voice of god. seeing him live is quite the experience.
kurt vile
kurt vile at the troubadour
hiding somewhere behind all that amazing hair is kurt vile, whose face I saw maybe twice the entire show. I loved how him and the other members of the band all had the same body language, making it hard to distinguish who was who (see photos below)
langhorne slim :: lord knows I love to dance
I have been a big fan of langhorne slim for awhile now, so I was stoked when I saw he was coming to the echo. he has so much energy and this crazy fire in his eyes when he performs. highlight of the show for me was definitely the encore when he sang mary. if you have never given him a listen, make sure to do so.
special thanks to billy for allowing me to photograph the show. enjoy!
the blow
cassettes won’t listen
generationals
awesome show, great energy and super nice guys. I have been listening to them on repeat all morning while editing these photos… you should do the same.
