Zion :: a college reunion of sorts
I got to spend the last 5 days backpacking and hiking through Zion National Park, one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I have ever been. What made the trip even better was spending it with great college friends. Five of us are photographers who went to school in Ohio and now we are spread all over the west. It was great to just disconnect, take in my surroundings and catch up with my friends…. hail/snow/sleet storm and all (see photos) Here are some of my favorite photos from both the road trip out there and the park itself.

Carrie & Nick
Carrie has been one of my dearest friends since middle school and even though she moved away in high school we always remained close. So, when she told me her and her fiance were going to be visiting LA for the weekend I jumped at the chance to do some engagement photos for them. They are a beautiful couple with such an obvious love for one another. I couldn’t be happier for them!
